Here at Spicy Sports we are proud of our experienced and certified technicians. Our staff have expertise in Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, and Ski-touring. We all speak fluent English, but some also speak French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Irish!

Jordan is our resident Kiwi, who developed his passion for mountain biking and skiing in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. His knowledge of bikes is hard to beat, and in the winter Jordan is a fastidious tester of skis. If you want to know which of our skis are best for the conditions on any given day, Jordan will always have some first-hand knowledge to share!

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Kirby is now enjoying the more temperate climate in Whistler. Kirby arrived at Spicy as a freestyle expert. Although he still enjoys shredding the XL Park on Blackcomb, he has recently taken to slaying the Whistler Backcountry. Whether you are looking for the best possible back-country set-up or just buying a pair of goggles for the week, Kirby’s knowledge is tried and tested, and his opinions are worth listening too.

Yaoki our store manager
Yaoki has been living and working in Whistler for over a decade! He and his family now call this place home. When not racing around the mountain with his kids, Yaoki is a big fan of the Back-country and always brings back awesome photo’s to make us jealous!

Isshin is a true local and has been skiing in Whistler since he was old enough to clip in to his skis. If it is local knowledge that you are after, Isshin in the man! Isshin also excels on ice, and is a star member of the local hockey team.
