Spicy Sports Inc. (Operating as Spicy Sports) is a Winter and Summer sports equipment company. We operate two locations (Blackcomb Base and Whistler Village) in Whistler, B.C. We are one of Whistler's longest locally owned and operated family-owned businesses, with over 30 + years of experience.

We are now hiring for the 2024-25 winter season!

WHISTLER & BLACKCOMB STORE

Work at Whistler's most fun and active shops with a positive shop atmosphere!

SKI AND SNOWBOARD TECHNICIAN

Part-time or Full-time

We are seeking Rental Technicians to assist us for the upcoming winter season. We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Interest in winter sports (a must)
  • Positive attitude
  • Good customer skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • No experience necessary. High school graduation required.
  • Duration: November 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of equipment for rental
  • Advise customers on sizing of equipment
  • Provide estimate or quote of prices
  • Prepare equipment for rental
  • Assist in display of skis, snowboards and merchandise
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

SKI TUNER

EXPERIENCED SKI TUNER
Part-time or Full-time

We are seeking an experienced ski tuner to assist us during our peak season. We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Interest in winter sports (a must)
  • Positive attitude
  • Good customer skills 
  • Willingness to learn
  • 5 years or more of Ski tuning Experience
  • Duration: November 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025
