Job Description

Spicy Sports is seeking organized, reliable, and physically capable Warehouse Team Members to support our rental stores during the upcoming 2026/27 winter season.

This is a hands-on role involving equipment transportation, inventory control, deliveries, store restocking, and warehouse organization. Full training is provided, and previous warehouse or ski industry experience is not required.

Warehouse Team Members will regularly drive company vehicles between Spicy Sports locations and must hold a valid full British Columbia driver's licence.

Job Type: Full-time seasonal

Duration: November 3, 2026 to April 2027

Hourly Rate: Starting at $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Driving company vehicles between Spicy Sports locations
• Loading, unloading, and transporting skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, bikes, boxes, and other equipment
• Safely lifting and moving heavy or awkward items throughout the workday
• Receiving, checking, recording, labelling, and organizing incoming and transferred inventory
• Completing inventory counts and helping resolve discrepancies
• Preparing equipment and supplies for transfers between locations
• Keeping the warehouse, loading areas, vehicles, and storage areas clean and organized
• Assisting with seasonal setup, equipment preparation, and end-of-season storage
• Supporting rental stores during busy periods
• Reporting vehicle, equipment, inventory, or safety concerns
• Following company vehicle, lifting, safety, and inventory procedures
• Completing other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Operations Managers

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be comfortable:

• Standing and moving for extended periods
• Regularly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment
• Handling long, bulky, or awkward items such as skis, snowboards, bikes, and equipment racks
• Loading and unloading company vehicles
• Working in warehouse, loading, outdoor, and winter conditions
• Repeatedly bending, reaching, and climbing stairs

Job Description

Spicy Sports is seeking Ski and Snowboard Tuning Technicians to join our team for the upcoming 2026/27 winter season.

This is a hands-on workshop position involving ski and snowboard tuning, waxing, repairs, binding installation and testing, and helping maintain an organized and efficient tuning shop.

Tuning Technicians will work under the direction of the Tuning Shop Supervisor. Full training is provided, and previous machine-tuning experience is not required. Hands-on, mechanical, workshop, repair, or equipment-maintenance experience is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time seasonal

Duration: November 3, 2026 to April 2027

Hourly Rate: Starting at $24.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Completing ski and snowboard tuning, waxing, sharpening, base repairs, and general maintenance
• Operating ski and snowboard tuning machines, hand tools, and workshop equipment
• Inspecting equipment and identifying damage, repair requirements, and safety concerns
• Completing base repairs, edge work, waxing, brushing, and finishing
• Mounting, adjusting, and testing ski bindings according to manufacturer instructions, industry standards, and company procedures
• Reviewing and updating work orders with service details and customer concerns
• Ensuring completed equipment meets company quality and safety standards
• Operating computerized inventory, work-order, and scheduling systems
• Cleaning and maintaining tools, machines, benches, and workshop areas
• Following required personal protective equipment, machinery, ventilation, and safety procedures
• Reporting damaged machinery, unsafe equipment, or technical concerns to the Tuning Shop Supervisor
• Supporting the tuning team during busy periods
• Completing other duties assigned by the Tuning Shop Supervisor or Operations Managers

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tuning Shop Supervisor to help lead our ski and snowboard tuning operation.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for running the workshop, organizing the daily workflow, and training a small team of technicians. The role includes servicing both Spicy Sports' rental fleet and equipment belonging to customers and partner shops.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of the tuning and service shop
• Set daily workflow priorities and manage turnaround times during peak periods
• Lead, schedule, and train a team of three to four technicians
• Support and train less experienced technicians
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain computerized or automated stone-grinding and tuning machines
• Diagnose equipment faults using computerized testing equipment
• Service or replace machine components as required
• Perform ski and snowboard tuning, waxing, edge work, and base repairs
• Mount and test bindings to manufacturer specifications
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries for partner shops and customer equipment, including occasional evening runs
• Manage workshop inventory and consumable supplies
• Maintain workplace health and safety standards

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• At least three years of professional ski and snowboard tuning and servicing experience
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining computerized or automated tuning and grinding machines
• Experience with machine calibration, fault diagnosis, and component servicing
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience
• A relevant trades certificate, diploma, or equivalent practical experience
• A valid driver's licence
• Fluent English
• Willingness to complete a criminal record check
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
